The ThinkPad Stack modular system is formed by up to four different interlocking modules that can be hot swapped. The modular, magnetic design allows stacking peripherals on top of each other, sharing data and power, to save space and eliminate cabling.
There’s a 10,000 mAh battery pack ($49), a Bluetooth speaker ($89) and a hybrid 1 TB external drive and wireless hotspot ($199). The kit of the four devices is available for $319. Every module can be used independently of the rest but together they have the abilities to work with the other. For example: hook up the Bluetooth speaker to the Battery module to get a big autonomy; connecting the Router to the hard drive to access at your file over Internet. All of them should arrive in mid-April.
